How to maintain a spray booth when it malfunctions

If the paint booth malfunctions, we should avoid using it again until it’s properly repaired. It’s crucial to arrange for professional technicians to handle the repairs promptly. When purchasing a paint booth, be sure to clearly discuss with the seller whether after-sales service is included—and specifically inquire about whether any repair costs will apply if issues arise later on. Here are some tips for maintaining your paint booth: 1. Every six months, thoroughly clean the entire paint booth and its floor mesh. Inspect the circulating air damper, as well as the bearings of the intake and exhaust fans. Also, check the flue ducts of the burner and remove any sediment from the fuel tank. Finally, renew the water-based protective coating inside the booth by recoating it. 2. Regularly clear away combustible materials accumulated on the side panels of the spray chamber, the mist separation chamber, inner pipe walls, and fan blades. This ensures smooth airflow while preventing potential explosion risks. 3. Quarterly, verify that the drive belts of the intake and exhaust motors are neither loose nor worn. 4. When operating the paint booth, apply a thin layer of grease onto the fan blades for optimal performance. 5. Weekly, clean the intake dust filters and inspect the exhaust dust filters for clogs. If you notice an unexplained increase in cabin pressure, immediately replace the exhaust dust filter.
