Shock! It turns out this is how tire changers are maintained and serviced.

A tire-changing machine, also known as a tire-removal machine, comes in various types—primarily pneumatic and hydraulic models. Among these, the pneumatic tire-removal machine is the most commonly used. As an essential piece of automotive repair equipment, it allows for the convenient and smooth removal of tires during vehicle maintenance. When using the tire-removal machine, please keep the following precautions in mind: 1. Ensure the power supply is properly connected to prevent damage to the machine. 2. When removing or installing tires, be careful not to scratch or damage the tire bead, as this could lead to air leaks. 3. When applying side pressure, avoid accidentally hitting the wheel rim, which could cause irreversible damage. 4. Always maintain a safe distance between the operator’s hands, feet, and the machine’s moving parts to avoid accidental injuries. For maintenance and upkeep: 1. Before performing any maintenance tasks, make sure to disconnect both the power supply and the air source. 2. At the end of each day’s operation, thoroughly clean the machine and regularly lubricate all moving and sliding components. 3. Additionally, check the air-water separator frequently to ensure it’s functioning properly.
