What precautions should be taken when using a paint booth?

When using a paint booth, please note the following points: 1. Before spraying, always check that the spray air pressure is normal and ensure the filtration system is clean. 2. Inspect the air compressor and the oil-water-mist separator to keep the spray hoses free from contamination. 3. Store the spray gun, spray hoses, and paint mixing containers in a clean, dust-free area. 4. Apart from using an air blow gun and static-dust removal cloths for surface cleaning, all other pre-spray procedures should be completed outside the paint booth. 5. Inside the paint booth, only spraying and baking operations are permitted. The booth door may only be opened when vehicles are entering or exiting. When opening the door, make sure to activate the booth’s air circulation system to maintain positive pressure, preventing external dust from entering the booth. 6. Always wear the designated spray suit and appropriate safety protective gear before entering the paint booth for operation. 7. During baking operations, all flammable materials must be removed from inside the booth. 8. Non-essential personnel are strictly prohibited from entering the paint booth. For routine maintenance, to ensure the paint booth operates at peak efficiency, perform the following cleaning and inspection tasks regularly: 1. Clean the interior walls, glass surfaces, and floor base daily to prevent dust and paint residue buildup. 2. Weekly, clean the intake air filter mesh and inspect the exhaust filter mesh for clogging. If the booth’s internal air pressure rises unexpectedly, replace the exhaust filter mesh immediately. 3. Replace the floor base dust collection fiber cotton every 150 hours of operation. 4. Replace the intake air filter mesh every 300 hours of operation. 5. Monthly, clean the floor water tray and flush the diesel filter on the burner. 6. Every quarter, check the drive belts of the intake and exhaust fans for looseness. 7. Annually, thoroughly clean the entire paint booth and floor mesh, inspecting the circulating air damper, fan bearings, and exhaust ducts. Also, examine the burner’s smoke exhaust channel, remove sediment from the fuel tank, and reapply the water-based protective coating inside the booth. 8. Each year, clean the entire heat exchanger, including the combustion chamber and exhaust ducts. Additionally, replace the roof insulation cotton annually or after every 1,200 hours of operation.
