This project is located in Argentina, where the client operates a large furniture finishing facility specializing in high-end furniture production, second-hand furniture refurbishment, and custom furniture coating services. The factory serves both the local mid-to-high-end market and export sectors. With the expansion of business operations, their existing water-curtain coating equipment could no longer meet production efficiency needs or consumer expectations regarding furniture quality, prompting the client to decide on a facility upgrade.
The client contacted us online, outlining issues such as low production efficiency, excessive dust in the workspace, and poor paint finish quality. They requested a design for a large-scale, precision-engineered industrial water-curtain booth system. We responded immediately to their needs, creating a tailored preliminary design that included two water-curtain spray booths and one natural drying room.
The client was highly satisfied with our spray booth solution. Subsequently, QX spray booth experts discussed specific configurations and on-site installation layouts with the client in detail. After several rounds of efficient communication, the client approved the final design, and the industrial water-curtain booth system entered final production and delivery.
Below are the details of the integrated industrial water-curtain booth system, comprising a water-curtain spray booth on the left, a natural drying room in the center, and another water-curtain spray booth on the right.
Left-Side Water Curtain Spray Booth
• Wall and roof panels: 0.476mm thick color steel sheet with 50mm foam insulation; all-white finish.
• Custom internal dimensions: 8900 x 3900 x 3000 mm (L x W x H).
• External dimensions: 10400 x 4000 x 4350 mm (L x W x H).
• Two sets of powder-coated aluminum alloy double doors (2300mm W x 2300mm H), equipped with observation windows.
• Overhead lighting: 10 groups of LED lights (4 tubes per group).
• Airflow system: Two 15,000 m³/h steel fans and one centrifugal explosion-proof fan mounted on the roof.
• Filtration system: Primary filter media at the air intake; high-efficiency ceiling filter media inside the booth (with stainless steel frame); paint mist filter layer in the exhaust fan cabinet.
• 4-meter all-stainless steel water curtain: 4000 x 370 x 1400 mm (L x W x H); dual-layer water curtain design with secondary spraying and water pump.
• Water tank dimensions: 4000 x 4000 x 300 mm (L x W x H); welded tank structure.
• Control box: Manual rotary-switch control box with English labeling.
Central Air-Drying Room

• Air curtain unit: 350W (1 unit); equipped with an interlock switch (activates automatically when the door opens).
• Control system: Electrical control box with manual rotary switches (English interface).
Right-Side Water Curtain Spray Booth
• Custom internal dimensions: 6900 x 3900 x 3000 mm (L x W x H).
• External dimensions: 8400 x 4000 x 4350 mm (L x W x H).
• Wall and roof panels: 0.476mm thick color steel sheet with 50mm foam insulation.
• Entry/Exit configuration: 1 set of powder-coated aluminum alloy double-leaf doors and 1 personnel access door.
• Overhead LED lighting: 8 groups (4 tubes per group, 32 tubes total). • Air exchange system: Two overhead steel fans and one centrifugal explosion-proof fan.
• Filtration system: Primary filter media at the air intake; high-efficiency ceiling filter media (with stainless steel frame) inside the booth; paint mist filter media in the exhaust fan cabinet.
• All-stainless steel water curtain system: 4000 x 370 x 1400 mm (L x W x H); dual-layer water curtain with secondary spraying.
