Operating Instructions for Car Lifts
1. Before use, clear any tools or debris around the lift that may interfere with operations, and ensure the operating handle functions properly. 2. The operating mechanism must be responsive and effective; the hydraulic system should show no signs of creeping or crawling. 3. When positioning the vehicle, make sure all four support jacks are on the same horizontal plane, and adjust the height of the jack pads so they securely contact the vehicle’s chassis support points. 4. Avoid raising the vehicle too high during jacking; once lifted, firmly lock all four support brackets in place. 5. After the vehicle is driven onto the lift, adjust and move the lifting blocks to align precisely with the lift points specified for that vehicle model. 6. Personnel must step away from the vehicle while it is being raised. Once the desired height is reached, insert the safety locking pin and confirm that the setup is secure and stable before commencing any under-vehicle work. 7. Except for basic maintenance and minor repairs, avoid performing complex or heavy tasks directly on the lift. 8. Do not operate the lift by repeatedly raising and lowering it. 9. Ensure stable lifting and slow, controlled lowering when positioning the vehicle. 10. Never raise or lower the lift while someone is working underneath the vehicle. 11. If you notice issues such as sluggish operation, motor misalignment, uneven support brackets, or oil leaks in the hydraulic system, report them immediately for repair—never continue operating the lift with known problems. 12. After completing the task, remove all debris and thoroughly clean the area around the lift to maintain a tidy workspace. 13. Regularly (every six months) drain any accumulated water from the lift’s oil cylinder and check the oil level. If the oil level is low, promptly top up with the same grade of hydraulic fluid.
