Key Points for Spray Booth Design
1. Lighting: Paint Booth The brightness must reach 800–1000 lux, and lighting should utilize a light source close to D65. Additionally, the room walls should be matte white. When using transparent materials like glass for partition lighting, fixed lamps should serve as the light source, and the area where lamps are installed must be separated from the electrostatic painting zone. Reliable sealing measures must be implemented at any installation gaps. Furthermore, the partition material must be flame-retardant, durable, and resistant to damage; meanwhile, the thickness of any deposited substances on the partition must not interfere with the specified illumination requirements.
3. Filtration Performance: The dust removal efficiency reaches over 98%. Typically, repair shops use two models of top cotton—EU5 and EU6. When operating a paint booth, you can shine a sun lamp on the upper area inside the room; under normal conditions, the number of extremely small dust particles per square meter should be fewer than 5.
5. Heating Speed: It typically takes about 10–15 minutes for the paint booth to heat up from 20°C to 60°C. At the same time, note that some paint booth thermometers may be inaccurate; therefore, when measuring the temperature, always refer to the actual temperature of the painted object inside the booth.
