Solution to Coating Cratering Issues in Spray Booths
Spray Paint Booth Causes of coating shrinkage cavities and solutions:
1. In the pretreatment process of the paint booth, incomplete removal of oil stains or failure to thoroughly rinse after degreasing can lead to shrinkage holes.
Solution: Control the concentration and ratio of solutions in the pre-degreasing tank and the degreasing tank to reduce the oil content of the product workpieces, thereby enhancing the cleaning effect.
2. Coating pinholes caused by excessive oil content in the water quality.
Solution: A dedicated water filter should be added inside the powder coating booth to prevent oil leakage from the water supply pump.
3. Shrinkage defects caused by excessive moisture content in the compressed air generated by the air compressor inside the powder coating booth.
Solution: Compressed air condensate in the powder coating booth should be drained promptly.
