Located in the Netherlands, the client is a family-owned shipbuilding enterprise specializing in the production, sales, modification, upgrading, and maintenance of small and medium-sized vessels. Long dedicated to this niche market, the company has built a strong local reputation through its heritage craftsmanship, innovative production capabilities, and reliable delivery performance.
However, order volumes had surpassed existing capacity; the production line was consistently operating at full load and could no longer keep pace with growing market demand. To boost competitiveness and modernize production capabilities, the client conducted extensive research and comparisons before purchasing two brand-new, custom-designed large-scale paint booth systems—along with associated environmental protection equipment—from QX Paint Booths. This investment will not only expand capacity and alleviate production bottlenecks but also ensure emissions comply with the coating industry's strict environmental standards, laying a solid foundation for the company's sustainable future.

Large-Scale Spray Painting and Drying Chamber
· This industrial spray painting and drying chamber is a large-scale, customized system designed for the coating and drying of large workpieces; its overall design balances efficiency, safety, and environmental protection requirements.
Internal dimensions: 16,000 × 6,000 × 4,800 (mm)
External dimensions: 16,150 × 6,150 × 5,450 (mm) (excluding the dimensions of the machinery cabinet system)
Front access: 5-panel folding front doors; an electric, high-strength roll-up door is installed at the connection point between the two industrial chambers.
Ventilation system: 4-stage explosion-proof supply fan and 2-stage energy-saving, explosion-proof exhaust fan.
Multi-stage progressive filtration design: Primary filters capture large particulate impurities; two stages of high-efficiency filter media capture fine particles; specialized paint mist filter media handle overspray.
Lighting system: Explosion-proof LED lights, specifically designed for high-intensity, high-temperature working environments.
Heating system: A total of 90 infrared halogen heating tubes; individual heating lamps can be switched on or off via the electrical control box to reduce operating costs.
Electrical control system: Schneider Electric components (controls for spraying, baking, temperature regulation, fault indication, power switching, emergency stop, and operating time settings).

Large-Scale Spray Painting Chamber
· This spray painting chamber is also a large-scale, customized system; its structure, ventilation, lighting, and control systems are configured to high industrial standards to meet the coating requirements for large marine vessel components.
Internal dimensions: 12,000 × 6,000 × 4,800 (mm)
External dimensions: 12,075 × 6,150 × 5,450 (mm) (excluding the dimensions of the machinery cabinet system)
Chamber structure: Constructed using 75mm-thick rock wool panels made of Class A non-combustible material. Roof structure: Main frame constructed from galvanized steel beams; filter supports made of stainless steel.
Air system: Two explosion-proof supply fans and two explosion-proof exhaust fans (each equipped with a dedicated variable frequency drive/VFD).
Lighting: High-intensity, energy-efficient, explosion-proof LED lights designed specifically for spray painting operations.
Control system: Utilizes Schneider Electric components (controls for spraying, baking, temperature regulation, fault indication, power switching, emergency stops, and operation timing).
Filtration system: Multi-stage filtration comprising primary filters, two stages of high-efficiency filter media, and paint mist filter media; captures contaminants progressively for thorough purification.

Environmental purification system with an airflow capacity of 80,000 m³/h.
Cyclone mixing spray tower: Includes a water pump and is constructed entirely from heavy-duty stainless steel; performs pre-treatment and purification of exhaust gases.
Dry paint mist filtration cabinet: Equipped with dual layers of fiberglass paint mist filter media to capture excess water mist and paint overspray.
Primary and secondary activated carbon chambers: Each chamber contains 5,760 honeycomb activated carbon blocks to deeply adsorb volatile organic compounds (VOCs) from the exhaust gas.
Exhaust system: Features a high-power centrifugal exhaust fan and a dedicated 75 kW VFD; ensures effective exhaust performance while controlling energy consumption and optimizing operating costs.
Electrical control system: Uses components from the internationally renowned brand Schneider Electric.
Exhaust ducting: Cylindrical spiral ducts made of heavy-duty galvanized steel; offer excellent structural strength and airtightness to withstand long-term exhaust operations, with the galvanized finish enhancing corrosion resistance.
Monitoring platform: Includes a testing port at the discharge outlet and an integrated maintenance platform, providing a safe and stable environment for routine emission monitoring and sampling.
