This project is located in Zambia, a country that—thanks to abundant water resources—historically enjoyed some of the lowest electricity prices in Africa. However, recent droughts have led to water shortages, causing electricity prices to surge. For the coating industry, spray and bake booths are high-energy-consumption equipment; consequently, every hike in electricity rates drives up coating and curing costs. Against this backdrop, the client sought to replace aging electric heating equipment with diesel-heated spray booths. Diesel heating systems do not rely on grid capacity, and, with established procurement channels and relatively stable fuel prices, they offer more controllable operating costs.
Driven by these requirements, the client began looking for a supplier capable of manufacturing diesel-heated spray booths.
